Terms of Service

Short version: you pay $149 a month for leads in one state. Each lead goes only to you. Use them to offer insurance or other legitimate business services, follow the calling and email laws that apply to you, don't resell them, and cancel whenever you like.

1. Who we are

CarrierSignal is operated by Cars Bikes N Bites LLC, a Utah limited liability company, at 813 E 420 S, Tooele, UT 84074 ("we", "us"). Questions: tobin@carriersignal.co.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By using carriersignal.co, requesting a free list, or subscribing, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you work for. You must be at least 18 and buying for a business. The service is not for personal, family or household use.

3. What we provide

We compile information that motor carriers and their insurers file with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), mainly insurance cancellation and suspension notices, and deliver it as lead lists ("Leads"). Each Lead may include the carrier's legal name, USDOT number, address, phone, email, fleet size, the notice date and FMCSA's deadline.

4. Accuracy

Leads come from public government records that we do not control. We check each carrier on FMCSA's SAFER system on the day we send it, but we do not guarantee that any record is complete, current or correct, or that a carrier still needs insurance when you contact it. Many carriers fix their insurance inside the 30-day window. Leads are provided "as is".

5. Exclusivity

While your subscription is active, each Lead we deliver to you is not delivered to another paying subscriber or included in another agency's free list for the same notice. If more than one subscriber covers a state, new Leads are divided between them. Carriers are public businesses, so other people may find the same carrier on their own; exclusivity means we do not hand the same Lead to two of our customers. Public details of a carrier (name, city, fleet size, USDOT number, without contact details) may appear on our website or as an example in our own marketing.

6. How you may use Leads

  • Use Leads only to offer commercial insurance or other lawful business products and services to the carrier.
  • You are responsible for following every law that applies to how you contact people, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the National Do Not Call Registry and state equivalents, the CAN-SPAM Act, state insurance and telemarketing rules, and any licensing rules for your products.
  • If a carrier asks you to stop contacting it, stop. If it asks us to remove its information, we may ask you to delete it, and you agree to do so.
  • Do not resell, publish, share or give Leads to anyone outside your agency, and do not use them to harass, defraud or mislead anyone.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules. You agree to cover any claims, fines or costs that arise from how you or your staff contact Leads.

7. Price, billing and renewal

A subscription costs $149 per month per state, plus any tax that applies, unless we agree otherwise in writing. It renews automatically each month on the date you started until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We may change the price with at least 30 days' email notice, and the new price only applies from your next renewal after that notice.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, online, without calling or writing to us. Use the cancel link at the bottom of any Lead email, or go to carriersignal.co/cancel. Cancellation stops all future charges. You keep receiving Leads until the end of the month you have already paid for, then deliveries stop. We do not give partial refunds for the remainder of a month, except where the law requires it. If we ever charge you after you cancelled, tell us and we will refund that charge in full.

Free lists are free. Requesting one never signs you up for anything.

9. Ending the service

We may stop offering the service, or a state, with 30 days' notice; any prepaid amount for time we don't deliver will be refunded. We may end a subscription immediately for a serious breach of section 6, without refund.

10. Our content

The underlying government records are public. Our compilation, selection, scoring, website and emails belong to us. Your subscription gives you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Leads inside your agency under these terms.

11. Disclaimers

Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise any number of sales, policies or commissions.

12. Limit on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

13. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and both sides agree to that jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please email us and give us 30 days to try to sort it out.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters to subscribers, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change; if you don't, you can cancel.
