Short version: we don't sell information about the people who visit this site or buy from us. The leads we sell are business records that trucking companies filed with the federal government. If you are a carrier and want out, tell us here and we will stop including you.

1. Who we are

2. Information about our customers and visitors

• What you give us: your email, name, agency name and state when you ask for free leads, subscribe, or write to us.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, the state you chose, and the status of your subscription. We never see your full card number.
• Email: if you email us or reply to an email, we keep the message so we can answer it and keep track of the conversation.
• Website: our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (like IP address) to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't put tracking images in our emails.

We use this to deliver the service, answer you, send you the leads you asked for, bill you, and occasionally tell you about the service. We do not sell or rent this information.

3. Information in our lead lists

Our leads come from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). They describe trucking businesses: legal name, USDOT number, business address, the phone and email the carrier filed with FMCSA, fleet size, and insurance filing dates. Some carriers are run by one person under their own name, so a record can include a person's name and contact details as a business.

We share these records with insurance agencies that subscribe, under contract terms that limit how they can be used. We do not add consumer data (like credit or household information) to them.

4. Removing your information

If you are a carrier (or anyone else) and don't want to be in our lists or receive our emails, use carriersignal.co/optout or email tobin@carriersignal.co. We'll stop including you within 10 business days and keep only the minimum needed to make sure you stay removed. Every marketing email we send also has a one-click unsubscribe, and replying "no" works too.

5. Who we share with

Service providers who help us run the business: Cloudflare (website hosting), Stripe (payments), and Google (email). Subscribing agencies, for lead records only. Authorities, when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Customer records for as long as you're a customer and up to seven years after for tax and legal reasons. Lead records until they are no longer useful, usually a few months. Do-not-contact records for as long as we operate, so we keep honoring them.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of its sale or sharing. Email tobin@carriersignal.co and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.

8. Security

Data is stored with access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

9. Children

This is a business service. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for customers, send an email.
